Rumenboard Farm

Our little farm is just shy of two acres on the outskirts of Fort Worth, Texas. With limited space, our flock size is necessarily small compared to others. We have, however, made the most of our property size and have what we consider a very workable layout. We treat our sheep with all the love and affection that we show our pets. We spend time with them, give them much deserved “scratches” when they want it, and generally have a good time. Our “hands-on” approach ensures that we have sheep that are very comfortable with people nearby and it allows us to keep an eye on them for any signs of trouble (health issues, etc). In return, they are giving us babies and LOTS of wool which Amy plans to process and prepare for sale.

We have three breeding rams onsite, and six breeding females at this time. The oldest female is the original female we purchased and our youngest ram is her son. We acquired three other rams a couple years ago in what turned out to be an awesome deal with a gentleman in Iowa who was looking to diversify his genetic pool. We only kept one of those rams (Bravo) and he is the father of our two newest female lambs which were born on March 25, 2019.

We are available for inquiries, how-to’s, etc. To contact us, please fill out the contact form located here.
